These Terms of Sale govern purchases made through the Imported & Adored website at https://importedadored.co.uk. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Who We Are
Imported & Adored is a UK-based business selling imported and specialty food products online.

2. Ordering Process
When you place an order:
- You will receive a confirmation email
- Once dispatched, you will receive a tracking link
- All orders are subject to availability and acceptance
We reserve the right to cancel or refund any order for reasons including suspected fraud, incorrect pricing, or stock issues.
3. Pricing & Payment
- All prices are in GBP (£) and include VAT (where applicable)
- We accept Stripe (Visa, MasterCard, Amex) and PayPal
- Orders will only be dispatched after payment is successfully received
4. Delivery
- We aim to dispatch orders within 1 working day
- Shipping is via Royal Mail Tracked 48 (Free over £35) or Tracked 24 (Paid upgrade)
- Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed
You are responsible for ensuring your delivery address is correct at checkout.
5. Returns & Refunds
Due to the nature of food products, we follow a strict but fair returns policy under UK law:
✅ We accept returns if:
- The item is unopened, in its original packaging, and in resalable condition
- You contact us within 7 calendar days of delivery
- The item has not been damaged or exposed to heat/humidity
- OR, if your item arrived damaged or faulty, with photo evidence
To start a return, email us at support@importedadored.co.uk with:
- Your order number
- Photos of the item (if faulty or damaged)
- The reason for return
You are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
6. Exemptions from Returns
We do not accept returns if:
- The item has been opened or tampered with
- The packaging has been damaged after delivery
- The product is perishable and past its “best before” date due to delivery refusal or delay caused by the customer
7. Refund Process
- Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method
- Refunds are processed within 5 working days after we receive and inspect the return
- You will receive a confirmation email when your refund has been issued
8. Legal Right to Cancel (UK Distance Selling)
Under UK law, most food items are exempt from the standard 14-day “change of mind” return rule due to health and safety.
However, we go beyond the minimum by offering returns on eligible items as outlined above.
9. Faulty or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described:
- Email us within 48 hours of delivery
- Include photos of the issue
- We’ll either refund or replace the item as quickly as possible
10. Liability Disclaimer
We are not responsible for:
- Any losses caused by incorrect handling or storage after delivery
- Delay or failure caused by events outside our control (postal strikes, weather, etc.)
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled in UK courts.
